技术介绍：The terminal has a coder (4) which encodes signals into acoustic signals at the input (1). Signals which represent a value and are displayed are encoded. The input signal is converted into audibly detectable signals which are fed to a loudspeaker (6) connected to its output. Preferably, the encoder converts a value stored in the chip card and which is read by a card reader into short or long tones. The tones are associated with individual numbers which are output by a tone generator (5) to the loudspeaker.
